An electron microscopy study tested three sections of the same hair — one treated with the Sun Protect Serum, one with a standard serum, one left bare — then exposed all three to 8 hours of UV.
The bare and standard-serum sections showed visible UV-related damage to the hair surface. The section treated with the Sun Protect Serum appeared completely undamaged — protecting both the hair and the chemical bonds of the lamination beneath.
