We all know UV damages skin. Almost nobody knows it does the same to lashes and brows — breaking down hair structure, stripping moisture, bleaching colour, and undermining every treatment you invest in.
Photodamage — what it actually means
UVB degrades the proteins holding your hair structure together. UVA bleaches melanin, causes brassiness, and breaks down the chemicals in your treatments. Both happen simultaneously, every day you step outside without protection.
THE PROOF
WE PUT IT UNDER A MICROSCOPE. LITERALLY.
An electron microscopy study tested three sections of the same hair — one treated with the Sun Protect Serum, one with a standard serum, one left bare — then exposed all three to 8 hours of UV.
The bare and standard sections showed visible UV-related damage. The Sun Protect section appeared completely undamaged.
