A year or so ago, a product development meeting had turned into a storytelling session. We were sharing customer feedback and proposing innovations — and then Tom said: “I’ve got an interesting one.”
Tom had been chatting with his friend Sue Marsh — the original London Lash Queen. She told him about a well-known beauty journalist who, in utter frustration at the lack of decent sleep masks, had fashioned her own out of a padded bra.
“She wanted one that protected her lashes while she was sleeping. They were getting damaged from friction and night-time rubbing. Not only that — there were no masks designed for lashes as long and luscious as hers.”
It landed squarely in our wheelhouse. We’d been hearing versions of this from customers for years. So we started building.

Every mask we tried squashed lashes flat overnight and did unspeakable things to brow laminations. Back to the drawing board.
Including one green floral number lovingly hand-sewn by Tom himself. A charming failure. The right instincts, wrong fabric.
Signature teal mulberry silk, Opti device embroidered over the temple. The only mask to protect both lashes and brows simultaneously.
Calculations based on facial anatomy. The mask would follow the bridge of the nose, position above the eyebrow, and rest on the zygomatic arch below. Natural contour, no cups needed.

The luxurious mulberry silk isn’t just soft on your lashes, it’s soft on your skin. Silk is generally considered beneficial for your skin because of the reduced friction (fewer wrinkles) and lower absorbency (plumper skin) when compared to cotton.
Our super deep cups mean even the longest lashes won’t touch the surface of our mask. Our cups are also the widest available, designed to sit above your brow for minimal brow friction.
