Whether you have long natural lashes (or naturally enhanced lashes, using Opti Laboratories Growth Treatment), extensions, or a brow lamination, you want to protect your delicate hairs from unnecessary friction.
During the night our lashes and brows are at risk of friction both from cotton pillows and from unintended rubbing of the area while we sleep. Friction can causes those delicate hairs to fray and break, impeding growth or messing your carefully curated extensions or brow lam.
Unlike other sleep masks, the Opti Laboratories mask is designed with extra deep, extra large padded cups which sit above the brow and which create space around the lash so that you can open and close you eyes without friction.
It’s also made from luxurious 22 momme mulberry silk, to further reduce friction and to keep you cool, comfortable and free from mask-related breakouts.
“Momme” is a silk grading, used to measure the weight and density of silk. 22 momme silks are especially soft, kind to skin and durable, making them the perfect choice for a sleep mask.
As well as being soft on your lashes and brows, silk is great for your skin. It’s smooth texture can help to prevent wrinkles and irritation and it is less absorbent than cotton, meaning it allows skin to breathe and doesn’t get clogged with any night-time products you use on your skin.
